Apology..

This is an apology to all the Aboriginal children and their families who have been a part of the treatment we Australians have put you through. I don’t have words for how bad I feel when I think about how we treated you. That somebody could do that and especially the fact that I am a part of that people. I recently found out the whole story about that terrible past you have lived in. And I think you guys really deserves this day. I know that just an apology wouldn’t make everything disappear, but still we just want you to know how sorry we are. And the fact that we now know about this past, that it hopefully will not happened again. I am really sorry that my ancestors had these prejudices against you.
