English homework!

- Point of view is which view the story is written in. like you can see the story from a person’s feelings and thought or that he just tells the story. It could also be the writer that tells the story from his point of view. Point of view is which person who is telling the story. In “going home” it is the third person who is telling the story.

- Concord is the ending of the verb in a sentence. You have to put on the extra “s” when the sentence is referring to he, she or it. For example: she works in that building – they work in that building.

- Adverb describes the verb of the sentence, like: fast, slowly, flat, big, for example: “they run slowly” But adjectives describes a verb, like: beautiful, ugly, high, for example: he was beautiful.
- I’ve chosen a character from “Going home”, who is Vingo. Vingo is an old man that has been in jail. He has a dusty face that is like a mask on his face that covers his age. Vingo is dressed in a suite that does not fit him, since he has not had the chance to buy new clothes after he got out of. You can see on his fingers that he is a smoker, because the fingers are stained from the cigarettes. Vingo is a lonely man that does not know how his relationship to his wife is, and he is scared of finding out how the relationship is after all this time.
